The Sapphire here is classified as a Kashmir Sapphire. This sapphire is from the Mines in the North-West Himalayas. The Kashmir mines were depleted of fine sapphires in 1887-1888. Most people will never see this type of sapphire in their lifetime as they are extremely rare. We are proud to have this rare gem available for purchase.
